It also produces sounds depending on the area of the drum head that is hit and the strength with which the drum head is hit. Even variations in the electronic hi hat versions are played by these electronic drum sets. One advantage of these electronic drum sets lies in its recording facility to isolate the sounds of each percussion group in a sound board, allowing for independent mixing of sounds.
